The holidays are upon us and we are all looking forward to time off from our hard work as Laborers! No shovels, no holes to dig, no jackhammering, no concrete work. We are ‘chilling out’ with friends, family, our children, and our loved ones. We feel those wonderful sentiments that the holidays bring with joy and compassion.
However as members of a special union, Laborers’ Local 332, that allows us to cherish these special moments with our family and loved ones; we can never forget the pain and suffering of those who are less fortunate. Those who will not have those moments of joy with family members.
As members, we will never forget our community and the people who need our help!
So during this holiday season, We were proud to have our annual “Friends of Labor Coat Drive” where we distributed good coats to several homeless shelters. Our members donated coats in good condition to help our homeless get through a cold winter. Some very practical and useful gifts to make this time of year a little easier for those in need.
So once again, a special Thank you to all of our members who contributed to this worthy cause!
