Our struggles have not ended with the election of President Obama! We have new challenges to face as stiff opposition to workers’ salaries and benefits are increasing. More and more states are becoming ‘right to work (for less) states. In Philadelphia, the Post Brothers have mounted a wicked attack against the Building Trade Unions that threatens our benefits, jobs, and our very existence as a Union!

So while we revel in our victories this year, we have to realize that our struggles continue! Lets reflect on one of the crowning achievements of this year-the “Rally for America” event here in Philadelphia! Laborers from all over the country came to this special rally for workers. Our Laborers Local 332 was in the forefront in hosting the event and we came out in full force.
