Labor Day Parade-2014

On a Day of Solidarity, Unity, and Promise for Union members all over the United States, we celebrate the great contribution of Labor to our country. The Laborers’ of Local 332 joined other Unions from all over our City of Brotherly Love-Philadelphia- and marched in a Parade honoring our Unions. The skies were overcast, it was muggy, and a little hot but that did nothing to dissipate the feelings of mutual brotherhood enjoyed by our members at this parade as we marched down Delaware Ave to Penns Landing. For us as Laborers, on this Day we reflect upon our unique history as a Union. Our fight against racism, oppression, along with the fight for fair wages and benefits. We must never forget our history, we have to know where we came from and where we are. In the spirit of Labor Day, please take a look at this very important video that recalls our history in the Labor movement.
